WHY ARIZONA?

Let Jen tell you.

Every JSC 3 Day Retreat before this one has taken place at Jen’s home Workshop in Anaheim.

But after spending the past year splitting her time between California and Arizona, Jen isn’t the only one who found a second home in the desert.

The Retreat did too.

For the first time ever, Jen is bringing JSC’s biggest event to the other place she calls home and inviting catchers from across the country to experience it with her.

SCHOLARSHIPS

DSC01672.jpg

BIG DREAMS, BIG GIVEBACK. No catcher is left behind.

Each year, we award Retreat scholarships to athletes who embody the things that matter most to us — commitment, character, and coachability — and to families who could use a little help making the Retreat possible.

We believe incredible opportunities should be available to incredible kids, and we never want finances to be the reason a catcher can’t be in the room.

Over the years, we’ve been incredibly proud to gift more than $300,000 in scholarships to JSC athletes and families.

So if your catcher dreams of being at the Retreat and your family could benefit from financial support, we want to hear your story.

APPLY FOR A RETREAT SCHOLARSHIP

Download the JSC app and apply inside the Scholarship Application section between September 9th–14th.

Applications close at midnight on September 14th.

Selected families will be notified on September 16th, before Retreat registration opens.

Downloading the app gives you access to the scholarship application. It does not guarantee a scholarship or provide Catcher’s Training Center early registration.

WHO THIS IS FOR

NOT EVERY CATCHER IS READY FOR THE RETREAT.

That is the point.

This is not for a beginner.

This is for the girl who is serious about catching. The girl who talks about playing in college. The girl who loves to work, wants to be challenged and is ready to find out how much more she has in her.

Athletes should have at least one full season of catching experience and be prepared to focus, learn and work for more than 20 hours across three demanding days.

If catching is just something she does, she may not be ready yet.

If catching is part of who she is, keep reading.

Not sure whether your athlete is ready?

RETREAT VS. TOUR

Website Header 2.png

A TOUR STOP IS GREAT.
THE RETREAT IS DIFFERENT.

We know people sometimes use the names interchangeably, but these are two completely different JSC experiences.

THE 3 DAY RETREAT

Three full days

20+ hours

4:1 player-to-coach ratio

Outdoor field and indoor facility training

Full-distance throws and live reps

Leadership training

Mental night

Video analysis

Parent night

Shared meals

Time to connect, celebrate and grow together

A completely immersive JSC experience

A WINTER TOUR STOP

Two days

Approximately 9+ hours

6:1 player-to-coach ratio

On-turf training

Catcher-specific instruction

Mentality and worksheet breakout sessions

A focused clinic experience closer to home

Both make catchers better.

But they are not in the same category.

The Retreat asks for more time because it gives your athlete more time. More coaching. More connection. More opportunity to work on every part of who she is behind the plate.

Winter Tour dates will be announced later this month.

Where should we stay?
A discounted host hotel link will be sent to families after they successfully register.
