WHAT YOU
NEED TO KNOW
Hustle, train hard and give us your all, week after week, and we guarantee your game will improve. The best catchers in the world all started here.
Jen Schro Catching lessons develop driven, ambitious girls into the best catchers they can be. Show up every week with a hunger to grow and a positive attitude and our staff of trained professionals will transform your game.
At Jen Schro Catching we believe in creating a competitive environment in every way the sport is taught. Lessons are a once-weekly commitment in a grouped competitive environment. Group lessons are the only way to cultivate the intensity of the game while instructing fundamentals of each skill.
By committing to the Jen Schro Catching program, you will become a better catcher, a better athlete, and a better person.
What We Expect From You
You commit to showing up every week, to hustle, make eye contact, give us your all and we promise you’ll become a better catcher.
Stay positive and driven, give us what we ask and it will return to you ten-fold. You’ll be pushed, in the most positive way, to work harder, to over prepare, to never settle. You will do good, be good and radiate confidence. Most importantly, your attitude will shift from believing that you can, to knowing that you always WILL.
Training With Us
Lesson placement is assigned only after you have been evaluated. We work hard to place you in a lesson where your skills will be best developed.
Placement at Jen Schro Catching is a very personal process that takes into account a lot of factors, including existing group dynamics, spaces available, and skill level. We keep group sizes small (3:1 player to coach ratio) so we can provide the best feedback and support to players.
If a spot is available in the lesson you are placed, you will be notified and can begin lessons as soon as the following week.
Our Location
The Softball Performance Workshop is a premier softball training facility, owned and operated by the Schroeder family – Michael Schroeder & his 4 daughters, all former D1 players. Founded on life-enriching principals, this facility aligns perfectly with Jen’s values, providing a supportive atmosphere to coach groups of young women. Jen works alongside her advanced students and collegiate athletes, creating a home for athletes to share their love of the game.
